Dear LSE Alumni Hungary Group Member,
As both Oxford Street and Andrássy Avenue are getting dressed into their holiday costumes, we are also getting ready to celebrate Christmas and the year behind us, so we are kindly inviting you and your guest to attend our 2015 Christmas Dinner. In line with the traditions, we are planning on enjoying a festive dinner together with fellow alumni and current students of the School returning for the holidays.
The dinner will be at Gerlóczy Café on the 18th December 2015. We will be starting the evening at 19:00 with some welcome drinks. The menu for the evening will be as follows, but contrary to last year's practice, we will need your menu choice of the following dishes:
Soups:
A: Chicken Consommé with Shiitake Mushrooms and Farce Noodle
B: White Bean Velouté with Smoked Rougié Duck Breast and Vegetables
Main courses:
A: Perch with Poached Vegetables, Green Lentil Risotto and Vanilla Jus
B: Pork Loin with Créme Sauce, Matzah Ball and Coriander Beetroot
C: Beef Leg Stew "Pörkölt" in Red Wine with Fresh Spicy Egg Barely
Deserts:
A: Chocolate and Tonka Bean Tartelette
B: Lemon Cake
C: Cottage Cheese Cake with Apricot Jam - "Rákóczi Túrós"
