Dear LSE Alumni Group Members,
you and your partner are cordially invited to our traditional Christmas Dinner to be held on 15 December 2016 from 19:00 at Mandragóra Restaurant (1027 Budapest, Kacsa utca 22).
In line with our traditions, we are planning on enjoying a festive dinner together with fellow alumni and current students of the School returning for the holidays. We will have the opportunity to look back on yet another year full of exciting programmes and events that we have expereinced together.
Similarly to the traditions of the past years, we will have a specially selected festive menu to choose from (see below). Our three course dinner will cost 6300 HUF=person, to be payed separately by each participant at the end of the dinner (please do note that drinks are not included in this price).
Starters:
Pheasant consommé, home-made tortellini
Quince cream soup, almond curd cheese balls (V)
Duck liver pate milk-loaf with sun dried fruits, onion jam
Mains:
Rose duck breast, cottage cheese doughnut with orange, quince cream with star anise
Chestnut stuffed turkey breast, potato foam with pumpkin, fig sauce
Grilled goat cheese, beetroor, walnut, grapefruit salad (V)
Desserts:
Hungarian honey cake (mézes krémes"), cottage cheese cream with peach
Chestnut mousse, sour cherry ragout with cinnamon, hazelnut crocant
Diverging slightly from our traditions, you need not select your menu in advance (one less thing to worry about). However, you do have to register in order to be able to attend our event. Please do so by sending an email no later than 11 December to Miklos Gaal at m.gaal@alumni.lse.ac.uk indicating your wish to attend.
