Another fantastic LSE Alumni Sailing Weekend is behind us, organized on 4-6 Aug. More than 30 participants (!) have joined the event. This year, the party started already on Friday night. We sailed out with five sailing boats from Balatonfüred, on Sat morning. According to our traditions, we quickly started the first rounds of rosés on the boats, anchored next to the beautiful Tihany Abbey, tied the five boats to each other, jumped into the water and enjoyed the perfect summer weather.
The lunch took place in the Dinghy Restaurant. After that, all five boats sailed out again for another round of rosés, sailing and swimming. After dinner we rented buses to take us to Koczor Winery where we enjoyed a great wine tasting night. It was not easy to leave the Winery after tasting seven excellent wines, but the Füred nightlife waited for us: some dancing in Cocomo, more wine in Kredenc, and watching the stars on the shore. After a lazy Sunday brunch and walk, we said good-byes to each other.
We are hugely grateful for the main organizer of the event, Zoltan Csedo, who - through his efforts - made this whole weekend flawless and memorable. We are also thankful for Reka Soja, who kindly assisted us by organising the winetasting event.
And last but not least, many thanks to all who joined us, and we are very much looking forward to the next sailing together in 2018!
