Zsófia Farkas is the Managing Director of Minority Rights Group International Europe, Eastern Partnership and Central Asia Regional Office. She is a passionate human rights defender and advocate for the rights of vulnerable groups. She started her carreer as a lecturer at Budapest Business School. As an advocacy officer, she worked for various humanitarian and development NGOs on issues, like child trafficking, child protection, minorities and migration. Zsófia graduated from ELTE MSc in Political Sciences and London School of Economics MSc in NGO and Development. She was awarded the Chevening Scholarship in 2006-7.
