Just before finishing his high school in Hungary, Szabolcs was selected as a UWC Scholar, thus completing his secondary education at Lester B. Pearson College of the Pacific, in Canada. Following his North- American experience, Szabolcs graduated with a first class honours degree in BSc Environmental Policy at the LSE. Whilst at the school, Szabolcs coached and captained one of LSE’s basketball teams, and he has also chaired the Hungarian Society of LSE’s Students’ Union. After his studies at the LSE, he was selected as a Santos Scholar to pursue a Graduate Diploma in Energy and Resources Management at UCL Australia, and is now working as a consultant with a strong focus on the regional energy sector. Szabolcs is an enthusiast of outdoor sports, of them all he enjoys hiking and sailing the most.
