Government spokespersons' debate

Government spokespersons' debate

On 7 November the Hungarian LSE Alumni Association and the Common Sense Society jointly organised a debate between the current and three former gvenrment spokespersons.

In a moderated discussion Mr András Batiz (govt. spokesman 2004-06), Mr Domokos Szollár (2009-10), Ms Anna Nagy (2010-11) and Dr Zoltán Kovács (2014-present) exchanged views on topics such as Hungary's perception problems, selling what's hard to sell or best and worst moments of government spokepersonship. In the second part of the event in an active Q&A session panellists answered questions from the audience on a range of issues including tackling biased views or leaking information. We would like to thank the Common Sense Society for the, yet again, very smooth and successful cooperation, and the House of Dialogue/Saint Ignatius Jesuit College for providing the venue.
